It also shows the serum TG concentration of female volunteers without (n = 15) and with (n = 14) hypercholesterolemia (C), and female volunteers with hypercholesterolemia using (n = 8) or not (n = 6) oral medications (D). The data represent the mean ± standard error of mean. TG: triglyceride; *p < 0.05 and ***p < 0.001 when comparing fasting and postprandial values obtained from the same individual (paired samples t-test).
